Agus Komang, Principal Specialist Solution Architect at Amazon Web Services Singapore, commended Indonesia’s digital transformation efforts, considering it a significant step towards becoming a digital powerhouse.

“The establishment of GovTech Indonesia is a great start. Observing other countries like Singapore, which has a well-executed GovTech, I believe INA Pass, the national digital identity for Indonesia, is a noteworthy project,” he explained.

Komang highlighted that this initiative could be the foundation for future integration, where ministry and agency digital systems could operate with a single sign-on mechanism, ensuring seamless integration.

Data Analyst at Meta, Fika Fawzia, expressed optimism about the future of digital services in Indonesia, envisioning a system where citizens need only log in once to access various services securely.

“After discussing with the Minister and Peruri, I am confident in the continuity and commitment of Indonesia’s leaders to GovTech Indonesia. Ideally, visiting local government offices without needing photocopies of ID cards will soon be a reality,” Fika concluded.
